On India's Independence Day, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai was illuminated with the colours of India's national flag, symbolising the tricolour. A video circulating on social media captures the moment when the world's tallest building was adorned with the Indian flag's hues, accompanied by the playing of the Indian National Anthem, 'Jana Gana Mana,' in the background.

The video was shared by multiple users on the microblogging platform X, formerly known as Twitter.

This incident occurred merely a day after a commotion caused by Pakistanis. A widely circulated video from Dubai captured the scene of numerous Pakistanis expressing their frustration when the Burj Khalifa did not illuminate with the Pakistan flag on the occassion of their Independence Day on August 14.

The video depicts large gatherings of Pakistani citizens gathering around the Burj Khalifa at midnight, anticipating the display of their national flag's colors. Regrettably, their hopes were dashed as the anticipated illumination did not take place.

It is important to highlight that contrary to the previous events, the Pakistan flag was indeed showcased at the Burj Khalifa. A video capturing this moment was shared across various social media platforms, including Meta's Instagram, by the official pages of the iconic structure itself.

Wishing the people of Pakistan a day filled with pride, unity and prosperity as you celebrate the rich heritage and achievements of your great nation. May the future hold even greater success and happiness for all Pakistanis. Happy Independence Day!"
