Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday he will meet with many world leaders during the Fifth World Holocaust Forum, slated to be held in Jerusalem later this week.
The event will mark the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.
According to Yad Vashem, the Holocaust memorial Center, dozens of world leaders will attend the event.
And on the sidelines of the event, Netanyahu plans to discuss regional developments including the situation in Iran with some of them.
Netanyahu also said he hopes to hear "good news" during the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding Naama Issachar, an Israeli woman imprisoned in Russia on drug charges.
Issachar, 26, was arrested in Moscow airport in April on her way to Israel from India.
Authorities found 9.6 grams of marijuana with her and last week sentenced her to seven and a half years in prison.
Israeli leaders have appealed to Putin to pardon Issachar.
