Kylie Jenner recently filed legal documents to trademark the phrase 'Rise and Shine' post the video of the beauty mogul singing it for her one-year-old child, Stormi. The video she uploaded broke the internet and received many recreated versions from celebrities as well as fans.
Kylie files to trademark the jingle
According to reports, the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star filed to trademark the jingle in the categories of cosmetics, belts, coats, dresses, footwear, gloves, headbands, jackets, scarves, sleepwear, swimsuits and undergarments, among other items of clothing. Fans went crazy over the video which triggered a flurry of posts and memes on social media. Singer Miley Cyrus also shared her own version of the video.
The video was originally shot at Jenner's Kylie Cosmetics headquarters, in which the 22-year-old sings to her sleepy daughter, Stormi. Ever since the phrase became famous, Jenner has been capitalizing on it with 'Rise and Shine' unisex hoodies which are already sold out on her website.
Kylie shows off her singing skills
The 22-year-old entrepreneur, Kylie Jenner showed off her singing skills during the tour of Kylie Cosmetics on Youtube which was posted on October 11. Towards the end of the video, the American media personality is seen singing 'rise and shine' to her a year-old daughter, Stormi Webster.
Soon after the video made it to the internet, the netizens were seen truly impressed with Jenner's singing. Ariana Grande later tagged Kylie Jenner in her Instagram story video singing the same part of the song and asking if she "can sample". In addition to that Miley Cyrus also posted an edited video, in which the 22-year old sings the same part in America's Got Talent.
Along with various other memes inspired by Jenner's singing and people on the internet were also seen confessing that "rise and shine will be their alarm from today".
