After the long-awaited Call of Duty: Modern Warfare released on October 25, a day before the official account of Call of Duty UK in a tweet released a letter template for people to send their bosses, urging them to let employees be “relieved of all current duties” from midnight, when the game came out. One netizen also tried his luck as he posted a photo on the internet where he filled his name in the blank space and sent it to his boss.

However, the response from his boss was as hilarious as the idea of sending the letter. According to an international media, Carter got a reply saying, 'You can kiss my a**! if anyone is having tomorrow off, it's me'. Carter works as a refrigeration engineer from the northwest and explained that he had been great friends with his manager for about 15 years. He further said that his manager is also a gamer and they both regularly play CoD together. He also told an international media outlet that he and his manager were in work today but on the same site ribbing each other about CoD and trying to get finished first to see if they can get off early. However, he claimed that he had to finish his work before he had a chance to play the game.
