A Moscow court on Friday dismissed a complaint over the inaction of the Russian Investigation Committee in regard to the poisoning of Russian opposition activist Alexei Navalny.
The statement was filed by a lawyer from Navalny's Anti-Corruption Foundation, Vyacheslav Gimadi.
After the hearing at Moscow's Basmanny District Court, Gimadi said he would appeal the decision in a higher court.
Navalny fell ill while on a flight from Tomsk to Moscow on 20 August.
Berlin's Charité clinic — where Navalny is currently being treated — said that he was poisoned with a nerve agent from the Novichok group.
