A mother of three recently discovered she had won £1m on the EuroMillions Lottery only 10 minutes after coming across a letter telling her she had beaten breast cancer. Lynne Price, 55 is a South Wales laundry worker who decided to celebrate by having a long and relaxing bath. According to the reports, Lynne was at her home in New Tredegar, and when she opened the letter, she surprisingly found that her breast cancer scan results are clear. After some time, David rushed home from work to announce they had won £1million. The mother said she was in total shock after hearing the news. She added that she was shaking and, 'lost for words' something that has never happened to her before, according to her.

Couples plan to celebrate their 33rd wedding anniversary

Her husband David, 53, had checked the ticket at work and discovered that they had one of the winning codes for the EuroMillions Millionaire Maker. David said he went home to inform Lynne but she already had some big news of her own. Lynne was diagnosed with cancer in 2015 and went through a stage of treatment before the final scan in October. The couple are planning to jet off for a long holiday to escape next month's general election. They are also planning to celebrate their 33rd wedding anniversary.

David plans to climb Everest base camp

The pair are reportedly related to Ade Goodchild who won £71m in March and David's sister Judith is part of a syndicate that won the jackpot back in the 1990s. David is also nicknamed 'Lucky Dai' by his colleagues at British Airways and said that it is amazing to have three winners in one family. David is also planning to climb Everest base camp next year on a three-week expedition and started saving money for the same. He is expected to go on the trip next May. The couple who have three children aged 32, 26 and 24, and their grandson, Correy are also planning a trip to China.
