Peskov says Putin doesn't own palace in Gelendzhik
Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesperson denied opposition allegations the president owns a lavish "palace" on the Black Sea.
Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesperson denied opposition allegations the president owns a lavish "palace" on the Black Sea.
In an interview with state TV on Sunday, Dmitry Peskov dismissed the claims over Putin's ownership of a 1.3 billion-dollar estate as "pseudo-revelations".
Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny's investigation team had published a video expose alleging the palace in Gelendzhik was built for Putin through an elaborate corruption scheme.
Within 48 hours of being posted on YouTube last week, the video had gotten over 42 million views.
Peskov called the claims a "clear lie", adding "everyone who watches this investigation, has to use their head".
