Russia optimistic with Biden as new US President

The Russian ambassador to the U.S. said in a television interview that Russia has a "positive, vigorous, assertive" program to develop relations with the U.S. following the inauguration of President Joe Biden. Ambassador Anatoly Antonov, one of the first Russian officials reacting to the Biden presidency, told reporters that Russia is "interested in the development of the relations with the U.S. as much as they are."
