Thailand: King cobra pulled out from sewer after hour long operation

A four-meter long cobra who weighed 15 kgs was pulled out from sewer in Thailand and released into the wild following an operation that went on for an hour.

A four-meter long cobra was taken off from a sewer in southern Thailand following an operation that went on for an hour. A rescue foundation on October 15 said that the reptile is one of the largest they captured to date. A clip showed the rescue worker chasing the snake which is considered as the most venomous and longest snake in the world. The man caught the snake in a dark uncomfortably small drainage pipe. The poisonous snake splashed around in the water as it attempted to crawl again towards the pipe. The cobra was spotted at a housing estate by its security guard on October 13, after which he informed the rescue group about it.

Released into the wild space later

Speaking to global media on the rescue Kritkamon Kanghae said, "Seven rescue workers, including me, went there,". Kanghae further added that the plot where the estate is built was a jungle long back. While giving details on the snake, Kanghae said that it was over four meters in length and the weight was approximately 10 kgs. The newly captured cobra came third in terms of sizes among the snakes they found to date. The reptile was released into the wild space later on.

Videos of snakeskin in India went viral

In another incident from India, snakeskin was discovered which had seven heads in the Marigowdana Doddi village in Kanakpura, according to media reports. The village is situated around 60 km from Karnataka's capital city Bengaluru. A lot of people have started visiting the place where the snake's skin was found which according to their belief is of a seven-headed serpent. According to the locals of that area, the skin was discovered was found next to a temple six months ago. The temple angle grabbed the interest of the public as they considered it to be a miracle. A video appeared online and went viral where one can see different pictures of the snakeskin and the snake itself. Few pictures showed the snakeskin having offerings of flowers, turmeric, and the auspicious red powder.
