TikTok video of 'Avengers' wins hearts, netizens share similar videos
The TikTok video was reversed to create superhuman effects, shared on Twitter by a user, got more than 450k retweets and 1.4 million likes within two days.
A TikTok video is making rounds on the internet where seven people pose as Marvel Comics superhero team the 'Avengers'. The video has already garnered 16.8 million views on Twitter. In the video, seven men have posed as Doctor Strange, Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Balck Panther, Hawkeye, and Thor. The video, visibly, has been reversed to create superhuman effects. The video was shared on Twitter by a user which got more than 450k retweets and 1.4 million likes within two days.
Twitter explodes with similar videos
A user tweeted the video with a caption “Okay this has to be one of the best TikTok videos I’ve seen yet 😭 #avengers”. Another user shared the video after editing it to show how it was originally shot but netizens found it ‘weirder’ the right way. “I can’t get over how graceful this lil jump was lol”, said a user about “Ironman’s” jump. The Twitter thread then exploded with similar videos of “Avengers” emerging from swimming pools.
Smart plug-in
The user, who shared the video, also plugged in a story on the video of hundreds of blindfolded men sitting in the courtyard outside a train station with their heads shaved and hands tied behind their back, highlighting the plight of Uyghur Muslims in China. “While you guys are here I just wanted to make you all aware that Uyghur Muslims in China are being held in concentration camps! This is no different to the holocaust, and no one is doing anything about it!!” the user wrote.
The 'Avengers' series
The latest of the Avengers series, started in 2012, was Avengers: Endgame released in 2019. Avengers: Endgame was directed by the Russo brothers Anthony Russo and Joe Russo. The Boxoffice blockbuster features Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, and others. The film became the highest-grossing film of all time overtaking Avatar and broke numerous Boxoffice records grossing nearly $2.8 billion worldwide.
