Ukraine's First Lady Olena Zelenska on Friday, August 4, warned that if Russia wins the war in Ukraine, it will be the 'worst-case scenario for all humanity.' The First Lady of Ukraine and wife of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during an interview with the broadcaster Independent TV, appealed to Ukraine's allies and the rest of the world not to lose interest in the ongoing conflict, citing that there is likely a war fatigue that the partners suffer. But Kyiv, she iterated, is fighting for "the democratic balance" of the world.

"If the aggressor wins now, it will be the worst-case scenario for all of humanity. This will mean that global deterrents aren't working. This will mean that anyone with power, strength and sufficient financial capacity can do whatever they want," Zelenska said.

'Please don't get fatigued': Ukraine's First Lady

Zelenska appealed to the allies to provide incessant support and felicitate the "faster" supply of weapons and other military aid for the Ukrainian forces so they could ward off the Russian military's aggression on Kyiv's territories. "We keep hearing from our Western partners that they will be with us as long as it takes. 'Long' is not the word we should use. We should use the word 'faster,'" said Olena. "Ukrainians are paying for this war with the lives of our compatriots. The rest of the world pays with its resources. These are incomparable things, so we urge you to speed up this help," she maintained.

Zelenskyy's wife urged to the word: "Please don't get fatigued, because we as Ukrainians have no right to get tired."

Ukraine's First Lady urged the world to ponder on the consequences for global security if Russia won the war. She asked the international players not to turn a blind eye to the war. "This will mean that global deterrents aren't working," she continued. "This will mean that anyone with power, strength and sufficient financial capacity can do whatever they want in this world," she told the outlet in an exclusive interview. Her interview comes as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy pitched for the 10-point peace formula to cease the Russian hostilities. It involves full restoration of Ukraine's territorial integrity, complete withdrawal of all Russian forces from Kyiv's territories, and Moscow to be held responsible for the war internationally. The peace formula was rejected by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
