February 24, 2023 marks one year since Russia invaded Ukraine in what it has termed a "special military operation". This move by Moscow triggered global repercussions which persist till date. Along with a massive refugee crisis in Ukraine, the loss of human life and infrastructure has been devastating. As Russia went to war with Ukraine, world bodies and nations have been forced to pick sides.
