As per the media reports, Shevchuk will be charged with an administrative misdemeanour for his statement. Shevchuk is the lead musician of the Russian rock band DDT, which was formed in 1980. Producer Radmir Usayev stated on May 19 that police approached Shevchuk after a concert in Ufa, the capital of the Republic of Bashkortostan and at first, they wanted to detain him but then they simply informed the popular musician that he was being charged with an unspecified misdemeanour. The United Nations has estimated that around 3,811 people have been killed in Ukraine since the conflict with Russia began in late February and 4,278 civilians were injured. Pentagon stated that US Defence Secretary Lloyd Austin reviewed the situation in Ukraine, the Middle East and Iran with Israeli Defense Minister Benjamin Gantz during talks in Washington. The Pentagon said in a statement that Austin underlined that the Department of Defence placed a special focus on working closely with allies and partners to support Ukraine in defending against unjustified and unfair Russian aggression. Ten Russian armoured vehicles, an infantry fighting vehicle, and two tanks were destroyed by Ukrainian paratroopers. The 80th Separate Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Assault Troops stated that during today's tough action, one of the 80th Separate Assault Brigade's troops destroyed roughly ten armoured vehicles, while two tanks and an infantry fighting vehicle were also destroyed.
