European Council President Charles Michel was forced to take shelter during Odesa visit due to missile strikes. Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal in a post on Telegram said that his 9 meeting with Charles Michel was interrupted due to a missile attack, The Kyiv Independent reported. Both leaders remained unharmed in the incident. US Secretary of Defence Lloyd Austin held talks with Ukrainian counterpart Oleksii Reznikov. During the talks, Austin highlighted the US President Joe Biden's announcement of 150 million in Presidential Drawdown Authority to provide Ukrainian forces with artillery, electronic jammic equipment. Reznikov briefed Austin about the ongoing situation on the ground in Eastern Ukraine.
