Restrictions on Rio restaurants and bars eased

Restaurants and bars reopened on Thursday in Rio de Janeiro as part of the plan by the City Hall to ease the restrictions imposed during the coronavirus pandemic. In this new phase, restaurants are allowed not only allowed to delivery food, but provide table service following specifics measures, such as two metre (6.6 foot) distance between tables and a maximum capacity of 50%. In the big cities like Rio de Janeiro, the number of cases and deaths have decreased, but according to experts the virus is moving to the countryside where there is a jump in the number of people infected.
