Spain minister on Madrid vaccine delivery amid snow
Madrid's airport had been closed since Friday since the record snowfall forced its closure. Spain has seen over 51,800 confirmed virus deaths in the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Spanish interior minister said Sunday that a cargo of vital COVID-19 vaccines will arrive in Madrid early Monday, despite the weekend's heavy snow blizzard.
Speaking at a news conference in Madrid, Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska said that all measures were being taken at Madrid's Barajas Airport for the arrival of an allotment of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine to make sure they would be able to be delivered to regional health centers.
