Tamil remake of ‘Pink’ starring Ajith gets bigger, Vidya Balan confirmed for pivotal role

He added that the director H Vinoth has tweaked the script, keeping in mind the Tamil audiences and that Vidya’s role has been incorporated accordingly into the script. It is not clear yet which role from the original she is doing or if it is a fresh character. About the remake, the producer also stated that the collaboration with Ajith was after the latter suggested remaking the critically acclaimed movie to his late wife, legendary actress Sridevi, and she had given her nod. Meanwhile, reports state that Malayalam actress Nazriya Nazim is set to step into Taapsee Pannu’s shoes for the remake.
