South remakes have worked wonders for Bollywood stars over the years. Shahid Kapoor recently delivered the biggest solo hit of his career with Kabir Singh, a remake of Arjun Reddy earlier this year. He is also gearing up for another Telugu one, Jersey. Before that, Salman Khan’s resurgence at the box office a few years ago, was courtesy Wanted, a remake of Pokkiri. Could there be a similar turnaround for Urvashi Rautela and Viineet Kumar Singh as well? The duo is all set to feature in the Hindi remake of Tamil movie Thiruttu Payale 2 and the shooting has begun in Varanasi.
