Jeremy Corbyn claims that the United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson's Brexit deal is “worse” than that of ex-PM Theresa May's. The Labour Party leader, Corbyn also called it a “sell-out deal” back on October 19 when the British Parliament sat to debate the new deal drafted by PM Johnson and EU's Jean Claude-Junker. According to Corbyn, the present agreement also puts the citizens' rights at risk and therefore, should be rejected. British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced a “great new deal” for Brexit on October 17.

However, the new Brexit deal led by the conservatives has received a mixed reaction. The Labour Party released an official statement a few hours after the deal was announced by EU's Jean Claude-Junker and British Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, saying the party “trusts the people to decide”. The opposition party has maintained the stance to let the citizens who will be impacted the most with a deal to decide which deal is better for their peaceful existence. They have also started a public portal to vote for or against the present new agreement which according to PM Johnson takes back control.
Our Brexit position is simple. Labour trusts the people to decide.

'Do not support'
Fleur Anderson, a Labour Party candidate for Parliament, also said that the vast majority of Wandsworth residents do not agree with the Brexit deal and that many people have started feeling the impact. The deal which Juncker termed as “fair” has not been supported by one of UK's main parties, the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP). The Northern Ireland party also released an official statement about why the members will not be able to support the proposals in Parliament.
Boris Johnson's deal is a blatant attempt to dismantle our hard won workers' rights, consumer protections and environmental standards.
