UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson became the eye of a storm on social media after an image of the leader sitting with a leg on a piece of furniture in front of French President Emmanuel Macron did viral rounds, with many critiquing Boris Johnson for 'disrespecting' the President of France. However, the picture appears to be the two leaders posing for a photograph as both leaders are seen taking the moment in a lighter spirit.

The UK prime minister met the French president on Thursday as part of his tour of European capitals to strike a fresh Brexit deal. After a successful meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the Brexit deal, Boris Johson went to France to convince Emmanuel Macron and strike a deal with the European nation. The photo of Boris Johnson sitting with his leg on the furniture drew much flak from people on social media, however, the photo appears to been have taken when the two leaders were sharing a lighter moment. The two leaders were seen having a discussion following which Boris Johnson put his foot on a piece of furniture upon, what might have been, a suggestion of President Macron. France vow to work with the UK
Boris Johnson is on a mission to deliver Brexit to the people of the United Kingdom and is working his way towards making a deal. After Germany, Boris Johson sealed a deal with France President Emmanuel Macron, as he visited Paris to meet the Fench leader. Taking to Twitter, President Emmanuel Macron affirmed France's commitment to work United Kingdom and called the relationship between the two nations as unwavering and essential. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson also took to Twitter to reveal that he had travelled to Germany and France and had held successful talks regarding the Brexit with the leaders of both the nations.
