The UK Prime Minister's top advisor Dominic Cummings confronted reporters on Friday after being questioned about the next steps in Brexit negotiations.

The moment came as the UK officially withdrew from the European Union at 11pm GMT - midnight in Brussels.

During the back and forth, Cummings refused to answer questions about possible divisions in the country, instead accusing the reporter of asking "inane questions".

Cummings is the Chief Special Adviser to Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who previously worked as the campaign director for the official campaign to withdraw the EU during the referendum campaign.
