Hundreds of demonstrators marched through central London on Wednesday to protest against the death of George Floyd.
Protesters gathered outside 10 Downing Street, the official residence of Prime Minister Boris Johnson, chanting "Boris Johnson is a racist".
Although Johnson has condemned Floyd's death, he was criticised in parliament earlier Wednesday for being too slow to raise the issue during prime minister's questions.
Demonstrators also chanted "I can't breathe" - referring to Floyd's last words before he died last Monday when a white Minneapolis police officer pressed his knee against his neck for several minutes.
Some protesters advanced from 10 Downing Street towards the US embassy, where they were blocked by police.
Floyd's death was the latest in a series of deaths of black men and women at the hands of police in the U.S.
The officer, Derek Chauvin, has been fired and charged with murder.
