UK Brexit negotiator Frost seen leaving EU building

Talks continued in Brussels on Sunday as British and European Union negotiators intensified their last-minute efforts to agree a post-Brexit trade deal.

UK chief Brexit negotiator David Frost was seen leaving the UK mission to the EU and going to the EU Commission building.

He was then seen leaving the Commission building after spending around 20 minutes there.

The Brexit transition period ends on December 31 and European Parliament lawmakers have said that any agreement would need to be completed by Sunday if a deal were to be ratified by the end of the year.

But the negotiations are expected to continue beyond Sunday's provisional deadline.
