News presenter mistakenly gets introduced as Sarah Jessica Parker

A news presenter of a UK-based international news channel while on live telecast accidentally introduced her correspondent political correspondent as the American actor, Sarah Jessica Parker, on October 18. Moreover, as soon as she realised her mistake, the anchor admitted that she just mistakenly called her colleague the 'Sex and the City' actor on television. However, the political correspondent, did not seem to mind much and replied by saying that Sarah Jessica Parker was a “very glamourous woman”. The news presenter also asked if it is a usual occurrence to which she realised that it is not.

Netizens amused

Soon after the goof-up on television made it to the internet, people started reacting. Twitter users started posting Sarah Jessica Parker's GIFs as reactions to the political situation in Britain. Since the reporters were in Parliament Square ahead of the new Brexit deal to be introduced in the House of Commons after it was announced by Prime Minister Boris Johnson and confirmed by European Commission President Jean Claude Juncker on October 17.
