The Duke and Duchess of Sussex released two new pictures in order to celebrate the christening of their son, Archie Harrison. However, some followers noticed an awkward error in one the photo captions, published by the royal family's official Twitter handle.
The tweet appeared to be a mix-up of names of Prince Harry's aunts, Lady Jane and Lady Sarah Mc Corquodale who are sisters to their mother, the late Princess Diana.
In a press release, the royal family wrote, “Seated (left to right): The Duchess of Cornwall, The Duke of Sussex, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, The Duchess of Sussex, The Duchess of Cambridge. Standing (left to right): The Prince of Wales, Ms. Doria Ragland, Lady Jane Fellowes, Lady Sarah McCorquodale, The Duke of Cambridge,”
However, in the tweet, the order in which the ladies stand are reversed.
The infant is seventh in line to the British throne and Queen Elizabeth II's eighth great-grandchild. Harry is the younger son of Prince Charles, the next in line to the throne, and the late Princess Diana.
Meghan, a California native, had a starring role on the American TV series "Suits." She had a previous marriage that ended in divorce and has strong feminist views. As the daughter of a black mother and a white father, she says she identifies as biracial.
