Three days after the U.S. presidential election, with no winner yet called, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden sought to bring the nation together, urging Americans to "put the anger and the demonization behind."

Speaking in Wilmington, Delaware as he awaited the ongoing ballot counting, Biden said he knows tensions are high, but he urged Americans to "remain calm, patient, and let the process work out."

Biden pledged all all votes "will be counted."

The Associated Press has not yet declared a winner in the race between Biden and President Donald Trump because neither candidate has reached the 270 Electoral College votes needed to carry the White House.
