The Democrats have published a resolution to unveil the future procedures involved in the impeachment inquiry against the President of the United States, Donald Trump on October 30. A statement was released by the House Intelligence Committee that the evidence along with the testimonies collected from the impeachment inquiry will be made public to 'firsthand' about the alleged misuse of power by President Trump. The Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi also confirmed the meeting saying that the House has been following the evidence that has made Donald Trump's own words on his call with the Ukrainian President, 'more appalling'.

'Need for a clear path'
According to the statement released by the House Committee on Rules, there is a need to provide a clear path forward for the public phase of the investigation against President Trump. This comes after the Republicans' continuously raised the complaints of Democrats carrying out a secret probe. The center of the ongoing probe against the US leader is the phone call with Ukrainian President where Donald Trump asks the leader of the foreign country to start an inquiry on Hunter Biden, former Vice President's son. The White House, however, called the proceedings 'illegitimate sham'. The resolution which is tabled today will be marked up in the Rules Committee on October 31. The next phase of the inquiry will move from closed depositions to open hearings where the American people will learn firsthand about the President’s misconduct.

Republicans: What are Democrats afraid of?
The American constitution reportedly gives the House a broad authority to set rules for the impeachment inquiry. While Democrats say that they are following the house rules on the probe, the Republicans accuse the 'Do nothing Dems' of being afraid and involving even lesser people in the investigation. The officials who back President Trump in the process have also complained that Speaker Pelosi along with Chairman Adam Schiff is conducting the investigations in the dark. Moreover, last week a group nearly 30 Republicans even tried to enter the secure hearing room where the witnesses were testifying in the inquiry of the phone call between Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump to start an investigation on Joe Biden's son, Hunter and do Americana the favour to look into Ukraine's alleged role in interference.
