The husband and wife of the viral brawl video of Disneyland did not appear in court on September 9, the day scheduled for their trial. The video went viral in the month of July saw the couple indulging in a family brawl at Disneyland.
Andrea Nicole Robinson and her husband Daman Petrie are in trial for misdemeanour assault and battery counts according to a local news agency. Her younger brother, Avery Desmond-Edwin Robinson is supposed to be present in the court on September 30 for charges of domestic battery and assault which may see him serve a term for 7 years in the prison.
The ugly brawl
In the video that has been taken at Disneyland, one man wearing pink can be seen having a verbal spat with a woman in white. They are heard saying insulting each other before it devolves into abuses. After the woman allegedly spat on this man's face, he hits her with his hands. The woman hits him back, and her husband also got involved before it devolved into an ugly brawl.
Bystanders were trying to calm it down. The workers of the park even tried to intervene. The children around them are seen crying while they are using physical force on each other. The man in pink is also seen knocking his girlfriend down to the floor and punching her again and again. He then drags her off by her hair.
Three from the family have been charged
Three people from that family have been charged in their role in the family brawl after their video went viral. Avery Robinson is considered to be the main person behind the start of this ugly brawl. He hit his sister Andrea Nicole Robinson and two other women. The motive behind the initiation of the fight is not clear until now. They will all have their hearing in the Orange County Register.
Andrea may face jail up to 2-3 years whereas her husband might face a jail of six months. The officials of Disneyland while speaking to a news agency condemned the attack and said such kind of violence will not be tolerated by them. They quickly got these nuisance makers out of their premises and approached the police.
