As Hurricane Dorian threatens Florida and Bahamas, US president Donald Trump said that 'he has never heard of a Category 5'. At a briefing with officials at FEMA's headquarters in Washington, DC, Trump said: "We don't even know what's coming at us. All we know is it's possibly the biggest. I have -- I'm not sure that I've ever even heard of a Category 5. I knew it existed. And I've seen some Category 4's -- you don't even see them that much." His comments come despite this being fourth category 5 hurricane that stroke United States during his term as president- namely, Irma, Maria, Michael, Dorian.

"But a Category 5 is something.  I don't know that I've ever even heard the term other than I know it's there. That's the ultimate.  And that's what we have unfortunately," Trump added, in reference to Hurricane Dorian." Listen to his remark below.

Trump's comments were largely criticised and was an addition to his long list of ludicrous remarks. As Hurricane Dorian made landfall on Abaco Islands in Bahamas, US president's remark was thoroughly analysed by netizens and US media alike. A news network in the United States made a list of all the remarks made by Trump in time of Hurricane. Interestingly most of them is somewhat related to the recent remark. Others criticised Trump and pointed that this is not the first Hurricane since he has been the US president. Below is the list complied by the US media reports:

Donald Trump's first remark on Hurricane Dorian

Issuing first statement on Dorian Hurricane on Saturday, Trump warned Florida residents to be prepared. "All indications are it's going to hit very hard and it's going to be very big," Trump said in a video he tweeted Thursday evening, comparing Dorian to Hurricane Andrew, which devastated South Florida in 1992. However, with the storm's track still unclear, no immediate mass evacuations were ordered. Along Florida's east coast, local governments began distributing sandbags, shoppers rushed to stock up on food, plywood and other emergency supplies at supermarkets and hardware stores, and motorists topped off their tanks and filled gasoline cans. Some fuel shortages were reported in the Cape Canaveral area.
