The US-Mexico border wall has been a topic of discussion ever since Donald Trump came into power in the USA. Building this wall was one of President Donald Trump's key promises during his election campaign. He recently took to Twitter and lauded the progress on the US-Mexico border wall.

Trump signed his name Wednesday on a newly constructed section of the U.S.-Mexico border wall, calling it a 'world-class security system' that will be virtually impenetrable.
Trump heaping praise on the construction of the wall
In his return trip to the border wall in San Diego, Trump saw the border wall prototypes that authorities later destroyed to make way for 14 miles of steel, concrete-filled bollards currently under construction. Before the construction, the border in Otay Mesa was protected with very low fencing.
As per sources, Trump highlighted features of the wall, which he said have been studied by three other countries. He said the wall absorbs heat "You can fry an egg on that wall." The concrete goes deep into the ground to prevent tunnelling. And agents can see through it to spot possible threats on the Mexican side of the border, he said.
"When the wall is built, it will be virtually impossible to come over illegally, and then we're able to take border control and put them at points of entry," Trump added.
He also lauded the Mexican government, especially for sending tens of thousands of troops to its northern and southern borders to help slow the flow of migrants headed toward the United States. Trump further spoke about the expensive design and said that Border Patrol and military officials persuaded him to adopt that. He said he dropped a preference for solid concrete, instead opting for concrete-filled steel bollards that allow agents to see through to Mexico to spot assailants throwing rocks or other projectiles.
Last week, the Supreme Court gave Trump a green light to deny asylum to anyone who passes through another country on the way to the U.S. border with Mexico without having first sought protection in the third country Trump had promised during the 2016 presidential campaign that Mexico would pay for the wall.
Artists Install Pink Seesaws On US-Mexico Border Wall
As the US-Mexico border wall has been setting the grim political narrative of the Donald Trump administration, in a contrasting depiction, two artists installed fluorescent pink seesaws to play on, across the grey rods of the wall that separates the two countries.
A playful concept and what may be deciphered as artivism to overpower the discourse of division, the bright pink seesaws were quick to add colour to the dull grey metal wall and instantly saw both- children and adults spiritedly playing with each other from across the borders.
