The second transcript made public by the House of Intelligence on November 5 revealed that the United States diplomat and an ally of President Donald Trump just reversed his sides by confessing Ukrainian aid being linked to the investigation on former Vice President's son. Gordon Sondland unveiled yet another key piece of the incident to the House impeachment investigators by giving his testimony in synergy with Democrats' accusations on Donald Trump saying there was a quid pro quo between the US and Ukraine government.
Sondland said, “it was always described to me as ongoing investigations that had been stopped by the previous administration and they wanted them started up again. That’s how it was always described. And then finally at some point I made the Biden-Burisma connection, and then the transcript was released. So I can’t tell you on that continuum when, what dates, but that’s kind of what happened”.
Reversal from previous testimony
After his earlier testimony on the lines of what Donald Trump wanted, he said military assistance was being withheld until Ukraine's President agreed to release the statement about fighting corruption. Furthermore, he had assured that the proposed arrangement was the truth because it was Sondland who had carried the message to the Ukrainian official during the sidelines of a conference in Warsaw along with Vice President Mike Pence. After the recent hearing, the chair issued a statement saying that it shows the 'progression of efforts' by the US President. The testimonies made public were of US ambassadors, Sondland and the former United States Representative for Ukraine Negotiations, Kurt Volker.
“The testimony of Ambassadors Volker and Sondland shows the progression of efforts by the President and his agent, Rudy Giuliani, to use the State Department to press Ukraine to announce investigations beneficial to the President’s personal and political interests”.
Transcripts from Ambassadors Sondland and Volker show the progression of Trump's efforts to press Ukraine into the service of his own personal political goals, in what Sondland described as a continuum of insidiousness.

First public testimony of Ex-Ukraine Envoy
The first testimonies made public were of Ex-Ukraine Envoy and former senior advisor to Secretary of State during the ongoing impeachment inquiry against United States President Donald Trump on November 4. The former US ambassador to Ukraine, Marie Yovanovitch had also said that she feels threatened by Trump administration even after leaving the office. President Trump had referred to her as 'bad news' during his call with the Ukrainian leader, Volodymyr Zelensky which further 'shocked' Yovanovitch. When the investigators asked about her reaction when she read her name in the transcription, it also made Yovanovitch 'very concerned'.
