PM Modi thanks Indian community for organising the 'Howdy Modi' event
PM Modi thanked the organisers of the 'Howdy Modi' event and highlighted the importance and the benefits it'll have to the everyone associated with it.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi was addressing the Indian Community at the Texas India forum on Sunday, the organisers of the 'Howdy Modi' event which saw 50,000 people gather at the NRG stadium in Houston, Texas.
Thanking the organisers of Howdy Modi
At the event, he thanked the organisers of the event and highlighted the importance and the benefits of the event. He said, "Today, all of you have organised a big and nice event. People have attended the event in big numbers. All the efforts that you have taken have borne fruit. There is a lot more than this event that you have done which is not seen. You have gathered 50,000 people in Texas and in their presence, you have laid a foundation for a bright future." The Prime Minister also said that the benefits will be seen in coming years. "The benefits of your actions will take a long time to be realized, probably even for those who were present here today. You have executed a very big and vital task and on behalf of all Indians, I thank you all," said PM Modi.
Inaugurating the Eternal Gandhi museum
The Prime Minister also inaugurated the Eternal Gandhi museum at the event, after which he said, "I am associated with the Eternal Gandhi museum for a long time. In order for the new generation to understand Gandhi with ease, they have used technology in order to spread his teachings and his life". He added, "The Eternal Gandhi museum will be a prized cultural landmark in Houston. It will surely make Gandhi Ji's thoughts popular among the youth."
PM Modi is in the United States for a week, with the first leg of the visit being in Huston where he not only participated in the 'Howdy Modi' event, but also had a round table conference with as many as 40 CEOs. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said that the meeting focused on expanding mutual investment opportunities between India and the US. The second leg of the US visit will be in New York where the PM will be a part of multiple bilateral and unilateral meetings. The PM will also be making a speech at the UN General Assembly.
