Popeyes chicken sandwich hits new level with gunpoint demand
A group of armed people rushed into a Popeyes restaurant in Houston demanding chicken sandwiches. They pulled out a gun when told that sandwiches were sold out.

A group of armed people rushed into a Popeyes chicken sandwich restaurant in south-east Houston demanding chicken sandwiches and threatened the staff after they were told that the famous sandwich was sold out. The group pulled out their guns and threatened the staff. When the restaurateurs said they don't have any chicken sandwiches left, the armed men reportedly got infuriated and left the restaurant. The Houston police are investigating the matter and are on a search to nab the group that held the Popeyes staff at gunpoint. The police said the group had three men and two women with a baby.
Sandwich at gunpoint
The group first attempted to order chicken sandwiches but were angered when they got to know that the sandwiches were sold out. According to the staff, a man from the group pulled out a pistol and pointed to the manager demanding him to give a sandwich but when the manager told him they were running out of stock, the entire group left in a blue SUV car.

Disturbing incident: Houston Police
According to some media reports, Houston police have said the incident is very disturbing and disappointing as the group rushed into the restaurant with weapons and threatened employees. The police reported that noone was injured during the incident and they are going through the surveillance footages to identify the suspect. The video went viral on social media platforms.
