A toddler had quite the ride on a baggage conveyor belt at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport on Monday, as per international reports. The video which has been sourced from the airport's CCTV footage has gone viral.

The footage shows the little boy being carried all the way through the most restricted zones of the airport which are solely meant for baggage check. The toddler was forced onto different machines through which flight luggage passes by. The distressed kid has tried to prevent himself from being pulled further into the different machines, however, it did not work out.

As per reports, Edith Vega’s 2-year-old son, Lorenzo climbed aboard the belt when she put him down to get a printout of her boarding pass at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. That is when out of curiosity, Lorenzo placed his foot on the conveyor belt. The little kid was clueless that he was going to have an unpleasant ride. Once Lorenzo was past the rubber curtains, he was beyond his mother's reach as well as the airport officials.

In the video, Lorenzo can be seen trying to crawl out, but nothing seemed to work out for the kid. Lorenzo still tried to crawl over bags, but he ended up on another belt and eventually found himself in a room where workers were sorting out all the luggage bags. Shocked security workers immediately picked him up from the conveyor belt.

According to reports, the screening machines had an issue due to which Lorenzo was diverted to other belts with some bags needed a second round of checking.

“The officers who work down there, almost all of them are parents,” Howell said. “Their initial instinct was to get that kid back to the mom. They kicked into overdrive to try and get him upstairs.” an airport official said.

Initially, the workers thought that it was a cat when they heard Lorenzo screaming. But as soon as they saw Lorenzo, they rushed to his aid. Lorenzo suffered with a fractured arm, but otherwise, he was fine.
