US: Indian-Americans show support for Democratic candidate Joe Biden

Indian-Americans and other members of Asian-American and Pacific Islanders launched 'AAPIs for Biden' in support of Joe Biden for 2020 presidential elections

The current Democratic presidential candidate and the former Vice President of United States, Joe Biden is entirely supported by the Indian-Americans and other members of Asian-American and Pacific Islanders. On October 26, the community came together to launch 'AAPIs for Biden' in Las Vegas. In the race of 2020 general elections, the Asians along with Indian-origin have stood in solidarity with Joe Biden and one of the supporters even acknowledged that irrespective of being a minority, the community will play a 'big role' in the nomination process.

AAPIs for Biden

According to the press release, 'AAPIs for Biden' is a national network of Asian-American and Pacific Islander supporters working to rally the community around Biden's record of accomplishment, and his vision to heal the damage done by Donald Trump and to rebuild the middle class. Furthermore, the community will also recruit, train and deploy members from the network to mobilize run phone banks, canvasses, community events, days of action and fundraising activities in support of Joe Biden's election campaign.

'Joe Biden exemplifies our values'

The members of AAPIs for Biden also believe that Joe Biden exemplifies their community's values and beliefs. The community has joined hands in support of a 'strong, stable and a steady leader'. The former Vice President also believes that this coalition will help him unite the US and he also believes that not only the citizens of the country but even 'dog knows that they can not afford four more years of Donald Trump'. Biden has also questioned policies put forth by Donald Trump and accuses him of not having a strategy against national threats and that the US President is 'directing American national security is a dangerous day for the US'.
