A massive water main break sent a river of water rushing down streets in Atlanta.
According to the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management, a 36-inch transmission main at Ferst Drive and Hemphill Avenue on the Georgia Tech campus burst on Saturday afternoon.
The burst caused water to gush out into streets and roads with footage showing some areas flooded by water.
The issue has since been contained and service has been restored to all areas, a Watershed Management statement said.
However, some areas affected by the burst are being encouraged to boil water before using it for drinking, cooking or brushing teeth.
