Passengers on a New York-bound Delta Airlines flight were forced to evacuate on Tuesday, November 19, when smoke started filling the cabin in Madrid, Spain. According to reports, the flight was delayed by over two hours. A passenger from the flight tweeted a video of the smoke filling the flight's cabin. In the tweet, he mentioned that, "They waited to see what it was until they let us out of the plane."
The @delta plane got on fire in the back. There was smoke everywhere. They waited to see what it was until they let us out of the plane. I have not stopped coughing. Don’t understand why they didn’t let us get off the plane right away. pic.twitter.com/p5ioqxnB4w
