New Yorkers flash vaccine card for freebies

From cheesecake at Junior's in Brooklyn to donuts at Krispy Kreme in Times Square, New Yorkers are using their vaccination cards for free perks.

Alan Rosen, owner of Junior's Restaurant, famed for its cheesecake, said his restaurant's give away is to encourage people to get vaccinated.

"The sooner everyone gets vaccinated, the sooner we get back to normal," said Rosen.

Josh Sedacca says he has come almost everyday to get a free donut at Krispy Kreme in Times Square with his vaccination card.

"I don't want to say this is one of the reasons I got vaccinated, because it wasn't. But it's definitely a plus," said Sedacca.

Other restaurants from Shake Shack to White Castle are also offering give aways for those who show their Vaccination cards.
