US Vice President-elect Kamala Harris on Sunday called a phone call request by President Donald Trump to Georgia's Secretary of State to reverse his 3 November election defeat "an abuse of power."
In the call between the President and Georgia's Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, which took place on Saturday, Trump put forward a series of false claims, fabricated votes which he said should have been counted in his favour and suggested that Raffensperger should "find" enough votes to hand him victory.
Speaking at a rally in Savannah, Georgia ahead of the Senate runoff elections on 5 January, Harris labelled the call "the voice of desperation."
