During a rally held in Louisiana on November 6, US President gave a fiery speech against the Democrats who called for an impeachment inquiry. The speech was in response to the impeachment testimony of the top US diplomat Bill Taylor who provided first-hand evidence that the United States withheld the military aid of Ukraine and asked for an investigation against political rival Joe Biden.

Donald Trump lashed out at the Democrats
During the speech, Donald Trump denied threatening Ukraine. Trump accused the Democrats and said that they were trying to displace the foundation of the American Democracy through "the deranged, delusional, destructive and hyper-partisan process of an impeachment witch hunt". He further lashed out by saying that the Democrats conduct was shameful and it had created an angry majority. The confident Donald Trump said that the majority of the people in the United States would vote “the do-nothing Democrats out of the office” in the upcoming 2020 elections.
Billy Taylor’s impeachment testimony
However, the testimony of Billy Taylor, along with several other witnesses provided an account of events that happened in the White House proving that Trump’s administration was involved in the misuse of power. According to the impeachment testimony, Donald Trump did ask his Ukraine counterpart to call for an investigation against Joe Biden and interference in the 2016 elections. Trump said that he will not sign the check of $400 mn until Ukraine reflects the good part. Adam Schiff, who is the chairman of the House Intelligence shared the testimony on November 6 on Twitter. He said that Taylor’s testimony has revealed how Trump abused his power as he withheld the military assistance until Ukraine agreed to perform the investigation to help Trump politically. He also said that the public hearing of the impeachment inquiry will begin from next week, and Taylor will be the first witness to be televised.
