Trump on relief for smal firms, UK PM, export ban
"As of today, tens of thousands of small businesses have applied for more than $40 billion in relief under the paycheck protection program. You've all been reading about it. And it's really, I mean, it's only been going for a couple of days. It's really been performing well.

President Donald Trump Monday praised the 'paycheck protection program' for small businesses saying the program would 'result in nearly 2 million jobs being preserved."
"As of today, tens of thousands of small businesses have applied for more than $40 billion in relief under the paycheck protection program. You've all been reading about it. And it's really, I mean, it's only been going for a couple of days. It's really been performing well. A couple of little glitches, minor glitches that have already been taken care of, what they say," Trump said during a press conference with members his Coronavirus Task Force.
Asked whether he and Vice President Mike Pence had 'concerns' now that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was moved to intensive care with more severe COVID-19 symptoms, President Trump replied, 'No, I don't think so."Trump said he might have "a few tests (for COVID-19)" since the question was raised.The president also said "there may be retaliation" if Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India would withhold hydroxychloroquine from being shipped to the United States.
