US military dog wounded in Baghdadi raid back on duty: Gen Mark Milley
The chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff said on October 28 that the military dog slightly injured in the US raid is recovering faster and back on duty.

The chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff said on October 28 that the military dog wounded in the US raid that resulted in the death of (Islamic States of Iraq and Syria) ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi is recuperating and back on duty. General Mark Milley said that the brave dog had given the best of his service when the special forces conducted a raid on the compound in Syria.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump released an official statement announcing Baghdadi's death and said that the courageous and 'talented dog' chased down the ISIS leader into a dark tunnel where he detonated himself up with a suicide vest, killing himself and three children and partially wounding the dog.
President Trump put the picture of the dog on his Twitter handle on Monday saying that the dog did a commendable job by capturing and killing the ISIS leader. He said that that the name of the military dog has been declassified yet. General Milley also refused to provide the dog's name or any additional details about the dog. He said that the dog had been slightly wounded and recovering faster. He added that the dog is still in the service and returned to duty.

Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic extremist group who presided over its global jihad and became arguably the world’s most wanted man, is believed dead after being targeted by a U.S. military raid in Syria.
