Vijay Sethupathi's Sangathamizhan fails to hit screens on Friday; financial row to blame?

Vijay Sethupathi is one of the most popular actors in the Tamil film industry who has made everyone sit back and take notice of his impressive performances. Over the years, he has received several awards and nominations for his performances. The actor was gearing up for the release of his latest film, Sangathamizhan. The film was set to hit theatres on November 15, 2019, but unfortunately, it did not go as planned and the makers are now expecting a delay. While there is no clear indication of the new release date, it is being speculated by many that the film is expected to go live by Saturday morning. The bookings for Sangathamizhan had already started, but the shows had to be cancelled since running into financial trouble which now stands in the way of its release.

Sangathamizhan runs into financial trouble:

According to sources, the producers of Sangathamizhan have failed to clear their dues pending towards the distributors from their earlier release Veeram. It is now being said that the makers are working to settle the dues and will push the release by a day. However, an official announcement on a revised date will be made once the financial hassle is taken care of.

Sangathamizhan will see Vijay Sethupathi in dual roles for the first time in the action-drama.One of the roles will be of a super cop in the movie. The film also stars Nivetha Pethuraj, Raashi Khanna, Soori and Nasser in pivotal roles. The music is composed by Vivek-Mervin, and cinematography was done by R. Velraj.

Vijay Sethupathi had recently featured in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. The film had starred Chiranjeevi in the lead role. The movie was a sucess at the box office .
