In a bizarre incident, doctors in China found a spider spinning web in a man's ear.

As per reports, a man in China went to a hospital complaining of an unbearable itch in his ear. The surgeon after inspection could not find the cause of his symptoms.  However, in a strange discovery, after thorough examination, they found a spider creating its own home in the man's ear.

The man, identified in the media as Mr Li, went to Affiliated Hospital of Yangzhou University Medical School in Yangzhou to seek medical help on Sunday.

The surgeons in the hospital were not been able to see anything out of order because they had checked him using their bare eyes. But when they looked at his ear using a microscope, they saw a grey spider in his ear canal. And also that it was weaving its web inside. The surgeons told media that the spider has been making webs in the patient's ear for quite a while.

They also told the media that the spider was living deep inside Mr Li's ear and was moving very quickly. Owing to this they could not remove it using tools. The surgeon had to inject saline solution into his ear to get rid of the spider. The surgeons added that the patient did not sustain any injuries.

The surgeons have asked people with symptoms similar to the man to visit hospital and get themselves checked, the reports added.

The reports also said that for smaller creepy crawlies such as cockroaches, spiders and other insects, the human ear is a safe space to make it their homes and also lay eggs.
