Two masked men reportedly broke into Britain’s Windsor Castle estate last month and stole two vehicles from a barn, as per a report by The Sun.

The incident took place on October 13, when the men used a stolen truck to smash through a security gate and scaled a six-foot fence to access the property. They stole a black Isuzu pick-up truck and a red quad bike from a farm building on the estate.

Thames Valley Police confirmed receiving a burglary report from Crown Estate land just before midnight that day. “Offenders entered a farm building and made off with a black Isuzu pick-up and a red quad bike. They then made off towards the Old Windsor/Datchet area,” police told The Sun. So far, no arrests have been made, and investigations are ongoing.

At the time of the burglary, King Charles and Queen Camilla were not on the estate. However, Prince William and his family were believed to be staying at Adelaide Cottage, which is part of the Windsor Castle estate.

This isn’t the first time Windsor Castle has faced security issues. In 2021, a man armed with a crossbow was arrested on the castle grounds after allegedly plotting to harm Queen Elizabeth.
