World lauds India's historic Chandrayaan-3 Moon landing with congratulatory messages

Congratulatory messages have been pouring in from all over the world after India achieved the historic feat of landing on the south pole of the Moon.

Messages of congratulations poured in from around the globe following the successful moon landing of Chandrayaan-3 on Wednesday. International dignitaries extended their praise to India for its extraordinary accomplishment in the realm of lunar investigation, as India achieved the historic feat of being the first to successfully land a lunar rover on the south pole of the Moon.

Well wishers range from world leaders to partner space agencies from all around the world. Josef Aschbacher, the Director General of the European Space Agency (ESA), conveyed his congratulations to India and the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for their achievement in becoming the inaugural country to achieve a successful landing on the southern pole of the moon.

"We also congratulated India on the imminent and historic landing of the Chandrayaan 3 on the south side of the moon. We wished India well as host for the upcoming #G20 Summit and we look forward to our participation later this year," tweeted South African President Cyril Ramaphosa as he concluded his bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the 15th BRICS Summit in Johannesburg, South Africa.

Pakistan's former minister Fawad Chaudhry, who once mocked ISRO, joined in the celebrations, tweeting, "What a great moment for #ISRO as #Chandrayaan3 lands on the Moon, I can see lots of young scientists celebrating this moment with Mr Somnat Chairman ISRO, only Younger generation with dreams can change the world … good luck."

The Russian Embassy in India also tweeted, "Congratulations to our Indian friends on the successful landing of the Chandrayaan-3 station on the lunar surface!"
