Caught on Cam: Sleeping Delhi Man Brutally Thrashed For ' No Public Urination' Request

New Delhi: A man has been arrested in Delhi's Model Town area for assaulting another man who had asked him not to urinate in public.

The incident occurred in the Model Town area of north Delhi on Friday and was captured on CCTV and the video of the incident went viral on social media.

The footage shows the accused getting off a two-wheeler and approaching a man sleeping on the footpath. He wakes the man and starts beating him with a stick, while two of his friends wait on the bike.

After attacking him for some time, the assailant begins to leave but then abruptly returns and strikes the man again for another time before fleeing on the bike with his friends.

Police launched an investigation after reviewing the CCTV footage and identified the attacker as Aryan, a domestic worker in the same area.

The conflict began on Thursday when Aryan was urinating in the open near a park, and the victim, Ramfal, who worked at a nearby shop, confronted him about it, leading to an argument.

The following day, the accused returned with his friends and attacked Ramfal.

Later Aryan was arrested fallowing police investigation, but afterwards he was granted bail.
