New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Pankaja Munde was seen weeping profusely at a condolence meeting held for four party workers who tragically died by suicide following Munde’s defeat in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections. The meeting, which took place at the home of Popatrao Vaibhase, one of the deceased activists, was an emotional gathering where Munde shared heartfelt moments with the families of the departed.

"My workers are important to me. Please don't take such a step, don't leave your children and family," pleaded Munde, visibly shaken by the loss of the party members.

Photos shared on social media captured Munde consoling Vaibhase's family, offering words of comfort amidst tears.

"Popatrao was an active worker who devoted himself to every task. A true fighter. But to leave his family by taking such an extreme decision will weaken me," expressed Munde in a heartfelt post in Marathi, reflecting on the committed nature of the deceased activists. The others who tragically passed away were Sachin Munde, Pandurang Sonawane, and Ganesh Bade.

"I will continue to share the burden of their grief," vowed Munde, emphasizing her commitment to support the families left behind by the devastating loss. "But this responsibility is painful for me," she added, expressing the deep personal impact of the tragic events.

"We are certainly not weak enough to be depressed by a defeat, but this pain is unbearable for me. Don't give up on your life," Munde urged her supporters, rallying against despair in the face of adversity. Despite her defeat in the Beed Lok Sabha seat to Bajrang Sonawane of the NCP (Sharad Pawar), Munde remained resolute in her support for the party workers who stood by her.

"Incidents like these shake me profoundly. I am very upset today," she admitted, acknowledging the emotional toll of the recent events. Munde also took the opportunity to meet with the family of Ganesh Bade, another dedicated party worker who tragically ended his life.
