Another earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 on the Richter Scale hit Afghanistan at 9:17 pm IST, today.
Kabul: Another earthquake with magnitude 5.0 on the Richter Scale struck Afghanistan at 9:17 PM IST today.
The earthquake, with a magnitude of 5.0 and a depth of 220 km, occurred just minutes ago near the same epicenter in Afghanistan's Hindu Kush region as this morning's tremor.
Shocks were also reported in the northern and northwestern regions of Pakistan as well.
Earlier on 13 Nov, a similar tremors of earthquake were in Afghanistan when 5.1 magnitude earthquake hit Afghanistan's Badakhshan region.
The epicenter was 37 km west-southwest of Ishkashim town, at a depth of 220.7 km, as per the US Geological Survey (USGS).
According to preliminary reports, the quake occurred at 10:43 am in the Afghanistan region.
There were no immediate reports of loss of life or any damage to properties.
