N Line launches: The Hyundai Motor Company's retail sales of N Line models, focused on performance-enhancing elements, in India are slowly witnessing an uptick, according to an Auto Car India report.
The South-Korean brand introduced the N Line range in India with the i20 in 2021, and launched the second product in its line-up, the Venue N Line, in 2022.
The combined sales for both models have recorded over 10,000 units in 2023, says Hyundai, citing an Auto Car India report.
The automotive major is now looking to add more models to its India N Line portfolio, it said.
Tarun Garg, COO, Hyundai India, said, “There will be more N Line products that we will launch in India very soon and we are expecting sales to reach 15,000-20,000 units in the next few years."

While Hyundai has not stated which N Line model will be next, the report confirms that the auto-major will be cashing in further on the popular Creta SUV, set to see an N Line version in the later half of 2024.
The Creta N Line will be based on the Creta facelift that will go on sale in the coming days.
Creta N Line design
The Creta facelift was recently teased ahead of its global debut and going by the styling tweaks the current N Line models have set over their standard siblings expectations of a similar look from the Creta N Line.
Tweaks are expected to impact the front bumper, grille and front chin with N Line-specific red accents clubbed with gloss black and faux-brushed aluminium bits.
The upcoming model will also get a unique alloy wheel design, side skirts, N Line badges on the sides and styling tweaks to the rear bumper as well.
Interior-wise, the vehicle might come with an all-black interior theme, N Line specific gear lever and a steering wheel with red stitching.
Hyundai Creta N Line expected powertrain
With the Creta facelift set to get three engine options with the new 1.5-litre, 160hp, turbo-petrol joining the line-up, replacing the erstwhile 1.4-litre engine, the N Line version of Creta would likely have the same engine option combined with the 7-speed DCT gearbox, the report said.
Expectations for Hyundai to add a sportier suspension setup, sounding exhaust and slight changes to steering dynamics as with other N Line models are all also on a high.
Hyundai SUV launches in 2023
The first mega launch from Hyundai this year will be the Creta facelift, followed by the Creta N Line, and the Alcazar.
